This warranty applies to Stricker Auto Parts' recycled parts only. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the part and is installed in the vehicle for which it was originally purchased. This warranty is non-transferable. If any defect is discovered during the warranty period, Stricker Auto Parts must be informed immediately. All claims must be accompanied with the original sales receipt and any other documentation reasonably requested by Stricker Auto Parts. Defects must be verified and all repairs must be authorized by Stricker Auto Parts. All transportation costs are excluded from this warranty. Stricker Auto Parts reserves the right to repair, replace or refund the purchase price of any part at its option. Such repair, replacement or refund will satisfy all obligations of Stricker Auto Parts under this warranty. Any improper use or abuse (including but not limited to over heating, low or improper fluids and levels) neglect, careless handlings, damage done by improper installation, or repairs, or removal of a part from the vehicle shall void this warranty. Melting of heat tabs installed by Stricker Auto Parts will be considered evidence of overheating. All labor costs including, but not limited to the cost of moving attached external parts from the purchaser's old part to Stricker Auto Parts' part, seals, gaskets, fluids, and similar supplies are specifically excluded from this warranty. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, application or use. The liability and obligation of Stricker Auto Parts under this warranty shall not exceed the price of the part as shown on the original invoice and shall not include any inconvenience, transportation, towing, downtime, loss of vehicle, direct or indirect consequential damage. Labor expenses coverage is for individuals who have purchased an extended warranty from Stricker Auto Parts only. Labor expenses will only be paid on motors, transmissions, transaxles, axle assemblies, differential and carrier assemblies. No action by Stricker Auto Parts under this warranty shall extend the original warranty period or alter its obligations. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Any cause of action arising from any warranty must be commenced in a court of competent jurisdiction in Batavia, OH.
TRANSMISSION
Warranties are void on transmission failures caused by improper installations, gaskets, seals, improper detent adjustment, or electronics. A transmission must have filters installed and be serviced to factory specification, the same as if it was a new unit. Proof of proper installation will be requested if there is a transmission failure. Failure to properly service, flush and flow test the system on your vehicle will void your warranty. Please follow the current procedures specified by the OEM installer and use proper fluid. Transmission electronics, front seal, rear seal, pan gaskets, filters and axle shaft seals are not covered by warranty.
ENGINE
Stricker Auto Parts warranty for engines is limited to manufacturing defects in the block, cylinder head and valves, pistons, rings, crankshafts, cam shafts, connecting rods and bearings, rockers, oil pump, and other internal parts. All other parts that may be provided are "Accessories and/or Extra Parts" and no warranty is provided for any such parts that are attached, including parts such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, gaskets, water pumps, ac compressors, alternators, starters, and manifolds. Stricker Auto Parts strongly recommends the purchaser replace the timing belt and rear main seal prior to installation, as these are not covered by warranty. Warranty is void if heat tabs are melted or removed.
AC COMPRESSOR
There is no warranty on the item unless a professional technician installs the compressor. If a professional technician performs the installation and purchaser provides proof of work done, Stricker Auto Parts will warrant the compressor for 180 days from the invoice date. In order for the warranty to be valid, purchaser must replace the accumulator/drier and orifice tube or filter when replacing the AC Compressor. The system must also be flushed prior to installation and vacuum checked for leaks after installation.
